Franklin Volunteer Fire Department was organized in June of 1938. Many years of history serving the Franklin & Pendelton County community. We are located in the beautiful town ofFranklin, Pendleton County, West Virginia. Staffed by all volunteers. We serve a population of about 7,000 people. We provide Fire and Rescue Services, as well as community events. The fire department responds to all types of emergencies including EMS, Auto Accidents, Water Rescue, Trench and High Angle Rescue, and Haz-Mat.  Our current membership is about 50 strong. We have 6 pieces, of apparatus, 1 station, and our ISO rating is a 4.
